Hi!
OUR story
Remember when you were a kid and the whole world was your playground? Yeah, we do too. So why did we stop playing?
From Zoom Fatigue to Creative Energy
SEVEN YEARS AGO...
We were just another remote team, talented but disconnected. Zoom was our water cooler, and despite our best efforts, that digital barrier felt as thick as a brick wall. Collaboration? More like co-existing. Feedback? Let's just say "constructive" wasn't in our vocabulary.
Then came THE EXPERIMENT.
We hijacked 30 minutes of our next call for something different. No agendas, no status updates—just pure, unadulterated creativity. And you know what? We liked it. So we did it again. And again. Before we knew it, our team transformed into a buzzing hive of collaboration, becoming one of the most successful (and happiest) in the company.
Seven years and a gazillion job changes later, we're still at it. New faces join, bonds deepen, and the creative sparks? They're practically a wildfire.
So, what’s this mysterious activity?
Think of it as a gym for your imagination, improv for the stage-shy, a contest where the only losing move is not playing. We call it NotWork.
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE:
You get 10 minutes.
We give you a wacky prompt.
You create... anything.
No judgment. (Seriously, check it at the door.)
The weirder, the better.
The results? Mind-blowing drawings, hilarious poems, screenplay snippets that'd make Hollywood jealous, and product ideas so illogical they just might work. But the real magic? Unbridled laughter, iron-clad friendships, and more joy than you can shake a paintbrush at.
Why does it matter?
Creativity isn't just for artists. It's our superpower as humans. It helps us relax, energizes our minds, and brings us closer. We spend hours at the gym sculpting our bodies—why not give our imaginations the same love?
NotWork is your invitation back to the playground. It's a creative gym, a judgment-free zone, a place to reconnect with that wide-eyed kid who saw endless possibilities.

Because at NotWork, we believe the world needs more imagination, more belly laughs, and definitely more terrible superhero origin stories.
